25,000 oxygen concentrator sent to India, but Modi thanks the West
After India announced that it was receiving foreign aid, the U.S. did send some supplies. On the same day, April 28, a U.S. Army C-5 transport plane arrived at New Delhi International Airport and unloaded 440 oxygen bottles, 1 million N95 masks, and 1 million virus detection kits, with a total weight of no more than 50 tons. While the maximum cargo capacity of the C-5 transport aircraft exceeds 100 tons, the U.S. military transport aircraft sent only such a small amount of stuff, obviously just for show, picking up U.S. citizens in New Delhi on the way is the main purpose. And the British sent India even less supplies, only 200 respirators and oxygen concentrator.
